Cybercom and Knowit join forces and create the Nordic leader in sustainable digitalization

Knowit and Cybercom complement each other well and will become an attractive partner with a strong employer brand and a shared vision of driving and accelerating the digital transformation toward the sustainable business models of tomorrow. Knowit is already well-positioned in digital transformation, with a broad competence in system development (Knowit Solutions), web and e-commerce (Knowit Experience), and strategic consultancy (Knowit Insight). With Cybercom’s specialization in mobility, IoT, cloud-based solutions, and the growing area of cybersecurity and societal security, the offer is strengthened, in particular toward clients in the manufacturing, tech- and telecom sectors. A new business area, Knowit Connectivity, will be created, and Knowit will grow from 2,600 to 3,800 employees with sales of approximately 5,5 billion SEK and EBITA of 541 million SEK FY20201.

The three largest owners in Cybercom, JCE, Formica Capital and Tequity will also be owners in Knowit. JCE and Formica Capital will be the two largest shareholders with approximately 10% each.

“By this merger we will have an even better position to meet the strong demand from our clients and will be the go to partner for sustainable digitalization. Cybercom has been a core holding for JCE since almost 25 years and this merger is a great step in the ambition of being a Nordic leader within sustainability and digital transformation. We are really looking forward to the future journey together with the management team and the organization,“ says Carl Backman, CEO JCE.
