The Swedish forest

The forestry operations in Sweden began in 1994 through the purchase of Bark & Warburg’s forests and have since expanded through new acquisitions. Today, the operations cover around 14,000 ha. Around 40,000 m3sk is harvested annually, and approximately 27,000 tonnes of CO2 are sequestered from the atmosphere. The operations are certified under both PEFC and FSC standards. In addition to forest production, JCE Forestry leases land for hunting and agriculture. We actively work with nature conservation, such as our creation of the Majorebergs trail near Uddevalla.
